      Security PatrolDog Team

A Security Patrol Dog Teams primary role is to serve as a high profile visual deterrent. Dogs are trained to be fully obedient to the handler, detect the presence of intruders in hiding, protect the handler against an attack and also to track suspects from the scene of a crime

When deployed on site a Security Patrol Dog Team can be as effective as up to 3 conventional security guards. The team patrolling covers a greater area than manned guards alone due to the dogs increased awareness and ability to detect intruders. The dogs’ superior ability to use its senses and the handler’s ability to read the dog enable them as a team to detect persons in hiding or intruders that may be missed by a security guard alone. The inclusion of a Security Patrol Dog Team can be a cost effective way to reduce manpower and increase security both deterrent and detection.

A security Patrol Dog Team is a flexible self-sufficient security patrol, removing the need for a site security office.

Contraband detection dogs can be deployed in a number of environments including Businesses and Offices, Nightclubs, Rehabilitation and Mental Health facilities, Access and Egress points at Detention Centres, Airports and Ports.

Dog Teams can be used to search buildings, outside areas, personnel and anywhere that the client needs to ensure is drug free.

Dogs are trained to give a passive indication, which is a non-invasive search technique.
Mobile Response Dog Team

A mobile response dog team can be employed to carry out random checks of multiple sites throughout the course of a shift. Officers are coordinated by a central control room, which can task them to an area they are needed immediately. In addition to random security checks mobile teams will respond to incidents and alarm activations on site.  In the event of alarm activation the Mobile Team can deploy onto the site and search areas and buildings to ensure that intruders are no longer present. Mobile Teams can act as primary key holders in relation to alarm response and can arrange out of hours repairs and maintenance when required to do so. Mobile teams can also be incorporated into existing lone worker schemes to provide welfare visits and requests for assistance from staff working alone or in potentially volatile situations.
Dogs are trained to effectively search buildings and areas to detect a person in hiding after a security breach.

Teams are guaranteed to attend alarm activation sites within a set time previously agreed with the client. They will remain on site until the matter is resolved or they are instructed to stand down by the client.
